About The Kaddish Foundation
The Kaddish Foundation was established by a group of
dedicated individuals with two primary goals:
- Helping to perpetuate the soul of the departed, linking it to the
living.
- Allocating funds to Jewish children with special educational
needs.
The Kaddish Foundation offers the following unique services:
- Kaddish recited every
day for eleven months (full requirement) following the death of
a relative, loved-one or friend.
- The study of the Mishnah
(the Oral Law interpreting the Torah) for a full year,
with the name of the departed mentioned before the learning.
- The annual observance of the
Yahrzeit (the Hebrew anniversary of the departed),
which includes recitation of the Kaddish and Torah learning.
- Reciting Yizkor
(special prayer on behalf of the departed one) on the holy Yom
Kippur and Holidays.
