British born, Sandra trained as a botanist at London University. She lived in Israel for 6 years where she apprenticed to Yemenite silversmiths, mastering many jewelry techniques. Upon her arrival in the United States, Ms. Kravitz developed an interest in Jewish ceremonial art. She designed Judaica in a wide variety of media.
