ORNA AND YAIR MOORE

We, at Canaan Gallery, produce lovingly 100% hand woven fabrics, designed by Orna Moore, and made of selected fibres in the Artist Colony of Safad. In ancient times Safad was a world renowed center of high quality weaving by the kings of surounding lands. At Canaan Gallery we have tried to capture that ancient tradition with our unique designs and textures, keeping high quality a prime goal.

All Tallith sets are woven of cotton and silk. Each Tallith is made of a full piece of fabric - no hems or stitches along the edge - the primary proof of hand woven work. All Tallith and Tefillin casing are fully lined in satin. All Kipas are 100% cotton lined and are made of 6 pieces, creating a hexigram design. Each piece is double stitched to ensure extra long wear.
