This summer we've put our focus back on our Underground Jerusalem Heritage Trail Project - UJHT. With the world's focus on Jerusalem, we're going deeper to bring your attention to what lies 5-8 meters below your feet as you walk about the Jewish Quarter in Jerusalem. 2000 years ago this was the Upper City of Jerusalem. Much of what is now the Christian Quarter and the Muslim Quarter of the city was undeveloped and sparsely populated in the 1st century C.E. (a little less than 2000 years ago). These are some of the mysterious nooks and crannies of the Old City of Jerusalem now inside the Jewish Quarter. We have unprecedented access. Here is a sneak preview of some new spots that point to stops on the Jerusalem Underground Heritage Trail. Help us preserve the heritage which lies beneath our feet at the center of the Old City of Jerusalem, and certainly a key focal point of Western Civilization for the last 2000 years.
